November Festivals happening in South Africa
It is time for the annual Marktfees in Port Elizabeth again, and for the ninth year it promises yet again to be a celebration of locally hand-crafted goodies! This 4-day market is all about giving creatives and businesses a platform, there will be products from Raw.co, Pumpinkpumba, Tamelia Trading, Organic Alchemy, Love Gifts and Minki to name a few; there will also be a pop-up cake and tea pairing session with Conquer Café & Tea Lounge.

International Tourism Film Festival Africa
The first-ever International Tourism Film Festival Africa will be held in the Northern Cape, at the Apollo Theatre in Victoria West. Around 60 filmmakers are expected to come to the film festival and there will be tourism documentaries, short films, travel videos and other forms of cinematic content to look forward too.

As the cherry capital of the world, Ficksburg – situated at the foothills of the Maluti Mountains – has the longest running crop festival in the world and the Cherry Festival began in 1968. The festival includes street parades, the Cherry Ball, crowing of the Cherry Queen and of course cherry tasting will be at the order of the day.

Cape Town Festival of Beer
Consider yourself quite the beer connoisseur? With over 200 beers from over 60 local and international breweries, food stalls and live music, this festival (in its 10th year) might just be for you. There will also be limited-edition beers brewed especially for the event!

10th SOWETO Comedy Festival
The SOWETO Comedy Festival is celebrating its 10 year milestone with a comedy picnic including comedians such as Mashabela Galane, Tall Ass Mo, Salesman, Dillan Oliphant, Joey Rasdien, Trevor Gumbi, Eugene Khoza, Stop Nonsons, Kedibone Mulaudzi, Khanyisa Bunu. There are also 10 guest comedians, a variety of food, drink and merch stalls and 10 Jozi FM DJs.

Cap Classique and Champagne Festival
The annual Franschhoek Cap Classique and Champagne Festival, promises to be a highlight on the social calendar of bubbly lovers in the Cape. Be sure not to miss this sparkling event in the gardens at the Huguenot Monument, Franschhoek where you can sample the wide range of local MCCs as well as select French champagnes that will be on offer.
